2015 Event Highlights

Watch the 6 hour race from last year to get an idea of how crazy it can be. The winners crossed the line only 1.5 seconds ahead of the team in second place. Enjoy!

In David's own words

So we’re now approach the half way point of the season and we are yet to complete a lap in the Blancpain Endurance Series! Funny how these things can go but as they say… “that’s racing.”

Paul Ricard is a track I tested at earlier this year and very much enjoyed my time there. Unlike Silverstone – where I had to learn the track from scratch – I can hit the ground running at Paul Ricard from lap one in practice.

The big challenge at this event will be time spent in the car. As it is a 6 hour race each driver needs to drive for a minimum of 2 hours. Since I’m yet to do more than 20 minutes of driving there will be a lot of unknowns during the race.

BUT that being said I’m obviously incredibly excited and have been working flat out to prepare for the challenge (racing driver speak).

In 2015 I distinctly remember being at a karting race in Cape Town and kept checking the live coverage on my phone between my race heats at the track. I never thought I’d be competing in the race a year later which makes me proud and excited.

So! Let’s get our season under way for real this time!
